Tales of murder, madness, and mayhem!
Welcome
Premiere issue date: April 1st, 2013
Welcome to The Garrote online magazine.
Every three months we will be showcasing the best up-and-coming authors in crime/noir/hard boiled/femme fatale fiction. It is our goal to provide only the best in classic crime fiction with a modern-day edge.
If you think you have what it takes to be numbered amongst the ranks of such noted classic crime/noir writers as Mickey Spillane, Jim Thompson and James Elroy, or amongst the modern-day masters such as Marc Lecard, Gregg Olsen, and Bill Cameron, please feel free to refer to the submissions page on the menu bar.
Each issue will feature five all-new tales of murder and mayhem, along with two celebrity interviews with noted masters of the field discussing their tricks of the trade and advice to aspiring crime fiction writers.
Screenplay contest
Are you an aspiring screenwriter looking for that first big break? If you have a finished
screenplay you’re shopping around, look no further; TG magazine is holding a
screenplay contest for aspiring screenwriters, in which the winner will receive
an opportunity to pitch their works to a major TV network. See details on our
submissions page.
